Arizona Microcredit Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers underserved entrepreneurs to start or expand businesses through business instruction, consulting services and microloans.

A Phase I loan of up to $1,000 is available without business or credit history. Successful completion of the Phase I loan can lead to a larger loan.

The USDA provides loans of up to $205,000 annually  to businesses located in an eligable area like Willcox with 10 or fewer full-time employees.

The Community Food Bank Microloan program supports the local food economy of Southern Arizona by supporting grassroots entrepreneurs who by the nature of their work improve food access, food justice and food security.

They provide low-cost, short-term microloans to local food entrepreneurs whose business goals complement the broader mission of the Community Food Bank.

Community Investment Corporation is based out of Tucson. They provide an assortment of loans including microloans up to $10,000 and standard business loans up to $100,000. They are also developing "prototyping loans" in conjunction with Startup Tucson to develop business ideas.
